Publishing Process

Manuscript Submission

Authors submit manuscripts to the Journal of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (JEEI) through the online journal system. All submissions must comply with the journal’s author guidelines and formatting requirements.

Initial Screening

Upon submission, the editorial team conducts an initial screening to evaluate the manuscript’s suitability in terms of scope, originality, completeness, and adherence to the journal’s policies. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be rejected without external review.

Plagiarism Check

All manuscripts that pass the initial screening are checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts exceeding the acceptable similarity threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.

Peer Review

Manuscripts are reviewed through a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers evaluate the scientific quality, originality, methodology, and relevance of the manuscript.

Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial team makes one of the following decisions:

  • Accept

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Reject

Authors are notified of the editorial decision through the online system.

Revision and Resubmission

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer comments and resubmit the revised version within the specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the reviewers or the editorial team.

Copyediting and Layout

Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting and layout formatting to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with publication standards.

Proofreading

Authors are given the opportunity to review and approve the final proof before publication to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Publication

The final version of the manuscript is published online in the scheduled issue of JEEI and becomes immediately available as an open-access article.
