Peer Review Process
The Journal of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (JEEI) applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of all manuscripts submitted to the journal.
Review Process
-
Initial Screening
The Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor conducts an initial evaluation to assess the manuscript’s suitability in terms of scope, originality, completeness, and compliance with the author guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s requirements may be rejected without external review (desk rejection). -
Plagiarism Check
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding the acceptable threshold will be returned to the authors or rejected. -
Reviewer Assignment
Each manuscript is assigned to at least two independent reviewers who have expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject area. Reviewers are selected from different institutions to ensure objectivity. -

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, significance, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope. The review is conducted anonymously to maintain a double-blind process. -
