Archiving Policy

The Journal of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (JEEI) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published scholarly content. To support digital preservation and sustainable access, JEEI implements the following archiving policy.

Digital Preservation

JEEI utilizes the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which supports digital archiving and preservation services to ensure the permanent availability of journal content.

The journal participates in archiving programs and services supported by OJS, including:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), where applicable

These systems enable distributed preservation and secure storage of published articles across multiple locations.

Content Availability

All articles published in JEEI are assigned persistent identifiers (such as DOI, where applicable) and are stored in multiple digital formats to ensure continued accessibility, even in the event that the journal website becomes temporarily unavailable.

Repository and Backup

Published articles may also be deposited in institutional repositories and other trusted indexing or archiving services in accordance with the journal’s open-access policy and licensing terms.

Regular backups of journal data are maintained to protect against data loss and to ensure the integrity of the scholarly record.

Access Continuity

The Journal of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (JEEI) ensures that archived content remains accessible to readers without subscription barriers, in line with the journal’s commitment to open-access publishing.
