Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

General Information

The Journal of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (JEEI) publishes original research articles and review papers in the fields of electrical engineering and informatics. Manuscripts submitted to JEEI must be original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

All manuscripts must be written in English to enhance international visibility and citation impact.


Scope of the Journal

Submitted manuscripts must fall within the scope of JEEI, including but not limited to:

  • Electrical power systems and energy

  • Electronics and instrumentation

  • Control systems and automation

  • Embedded systems and Internet of Things (IoT)

  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning

  • Information systems and computing

  • Signal and image processing

  • Robotics and intelligent systems

Manuscripts outside the scope will be desk rejected.


Types of Manuscripts

JEEI accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  1. Original Research Articles

  2. Review Articles


Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be prepared using the JEEI template and organized in the following order:

  1. Title

  2. Author(s) Name(s) and Affiliation(s)

  3. Abstract (150–250 words)

  4. Keywords (3–5 words)

  5. Introduction

  6. Methods

  7. Results and Discussion

  8. Conclusion

  9. Acknowledgments (if any)

  10. References


Formatting Guidelines

  • Manuscript length: 6–12 pages

  • Paper size: A4

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Font size: 10–12 pt

  • Line spacing: single

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.docx)


Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should clearly state the research background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Keywords should represent the core topics of the manuscript and avoid repetition of words in the title.


References and Citations

  • References must be formatted using APA Style

  • At least 80% of references should be from reputable international journals

  • References should be published within the last 10 years

  • Use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote


Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted to JEEI will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% will be rejected or returned to the authors for revision.


Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process involving at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on the reviewers’ recommendations.


Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the JEEI online submission system. Authors are required to register and log in before submitting their manuscripts.
