Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines for BRIDGE: The Multidisciplinary Research Portal

  1. Scope: BRIDGE publishes original research articles, literature reviews, conceptual papers, and applied research reports in various fields including science and technology, health, social and humanities, arts and humanities, business and economics, and education.

  2. Formatting: Manuscripts should be in Microsoft Word format, single-spaced, and in Cambria font size 14 for title and 11 for content. The page size should be A4 with margins of 3 cm on all sides. 

  3. Title page: The title page should include the title of the article, the name(s) of the author(s), their affiliation(s), and contact information including email address(es).

  4. Abstract and Keywords: A structured abstract of no more than 200 words should be provided, which should include the purpose, methodology, results, and conclusions of the study. Keywords (3-5) should also be provided.

  5. Main Text: The main text should be organized into sections including Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Tables and figures should be numbered and included within the text.

  6. References: All references cited in the article should be listed in alphabetical order according to the author's last name. In-text citations should follow the APA style.

  7. Ethical Considerations: Authors should follow ethical principles in conducting their research and writing their articles, including obtaining informed consent, protecting participants' confidentiality, and disclosing any conflicts of interest.

  8. Copyright: Authors retain copyright of their work and grant BRIDGE a license to publish the article under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

  9. Submission: Manuscripts should be submitted online through the journal's website. Authors should also include a cover letter that includes a statement indicating that the manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  10. Peer Review: All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality of published articles. Authors should be prepared to respond to feedback and make revisions as necessary.
