Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Scope and Focus Jurnal SATKRIYA: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat publishes original research articles, review articles, and case studies on community service in various fields, such as health, education, environment, and socio-economics. The articles should present innovative ideas, practices, and strategies that can contribute to improving the welfare and well-being of communities.

  2. Manuscript Preparation Authors should submit their manuscripts in Microsoft Word format, using the template provided on the Jurnal SATKRIYA website. The manuscript should be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct language. The manuscript should include the following sections:

  1. Manuscript Length The manuscript length should not exceed 8000 words, including abstract, references, tables, and figures. The editor may request the authors to shorten the manuscript if it exceeds the length limit.

  2. Ethical Considerations Authors should ensure that their research is conducted with integrity and adheres to ethical standards. The manuscript should clearly state the research ethics and consent process, especially for research involving human subjects. Authors should also disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect the integrity and objectivity of their research.

  3. Citation Style Authors should use APA citation style for in-text citations and reference list.

  4. Submission Process Authors should submit their manuscripts online through the Jurnal SATKRIYA website. The submission process involves registering as an author, following the submission guidelines, and uploading the manuscript. Authors will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission.

  5. Peer Review Process All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer review process, involving at least two independent expert reviewers. The reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, significance, methodology, and overall quality. The review process may take up to 8 weeks, and the authors will receive the reviewers' comments and recommendations.

  6. Publication Ethics Authors should ensure that their manuscripts are original and have not been previously published or submitted to other journals. The manuscript should not contain any plagiarized or fraudulent information. Authors should also ensure that they have obtained the necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted materials in their manuscript.

  7. Copyright The authors retain the copyright of their published articles. However, Jurnal SATKRIYA has the right to reproduce and distribute the articles in any form or medium, provided that the authors are properly cited.

  8. Open Access Jurnal SATKRIYA is an open access journal, which means that all articles are freely available to readers without any subscription or paywall. The authors are not charged any fees for publication or processing of their manuscripts.
